Rejoice Total War fans, as Creative Assembly is revisiting one of the most influential moments in human history - the rise of the Roman Empire. The game will boast some of the biggest battles ever in the games series. Big enough to recreate one of the biggest battles of the time - the Siege of Carthage.

To convey just how large the city and battle is, Creative Assembly has released a panoramic view of the Roman Legions landing on the shores and attacking the city. It’s breath taking just how large the city is.

I, for one, am very excited for this game. The original Rome: Total War is one of my favorite games of all time and my favorite in the Total War series. Each Total War game since has really improved on the mechanics of the game. I can’t wait to see them incorporate them into Rome II
