So here we are, a good bit earlier than I had expected. The teased Charlie Santa heist DLC for Payday 2 is out, and the price of it revealed itself to be exactly zero dollars/pounds/shiny pebbles/shinhairs or whatever else you use to pay for games with. Along with it is a trailer, too!

I don't know what's up with Overkill. Payday 2 is a game that you'll need to leave behind any notion of authenticity and realism in order to enjoy. I mean, you're killing police officers for crying out loud! You've got to be able to disconnect yourself from reality in order to enjoy doing that. Then why, Overkill, do you keep releasing trailers that are so damn serious in tone? It's a tad jarring, almost as if you want us to play Payday 2 as some sort of social commentary. It's as if you're asking us to look introspectively at ourselves and ask us big questions like "Am I a monster?".
