BioWare has revealed the first Digital Expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, coined “Rise of the Hutt Cartel”, the expansion is already available for pre-order and will be available sometime in Spring 2013.

The new expansion will raise the level cap to 55 and will include five new levels of story-driven missions. In addition, the expansion will introduce a new dual-faction planet, Makeb:

“The planet Makeb is shaping up to be one of our most breathtakingly beautiful settings and the clash with the Hutt Cartel is epic and exciting. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. We have a lot more surprises in store for our fans next year!”

Those already interested in the expansion can pre-order it here. Subscribers will be able to pre-order it for $9.99, while F2P have to pay $19.99. Both pre-orders will give five days of Early Access as well.
