The first digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic has finally had its release date revealed. The Rise of the Hutt Cartel will be releasing on April 14th 2013. Those who pre-order it before January 7th will be able to play it 5 days ahead of the official launch date.

The digital expansion will see the addition of an entire new planet, Makeb. The planet will feature a host of new features and will be packed full of fresh new story content that will have your character levelling its way from 50 to 55.

For those who haven't pre-ordered it already, it is available for pre-order here at 10 dollars for subscribers and 20 dollars for free-to-play accounts.
