Rise of Incarnates Full Release and New Character on June 1st
Bandai Namco's free-to-play competitive 2-on-2 fighter Rise of Incarnates is leaving early access for full release on July 1st. ROI has been in early access open beta since February 3rd, where new playable Incarnates have been being added in addition to numerous fixes and optimizations following the title's rough start. Players can now also earn Incarnates for free by playing without spending money.
Rise of Incarnates is an entirely new franchise from the minds behind the Tekken, SoulCalibur, and Gundam Extreme VS series featuring "Incarnates", humans with special powers who can transform into powerful deities for a limited duration. Seeking to bring the iconic high-speed 2-on-2 arcade-style VS gameplay to a new audience in the West, ROI is being released exclusively for PC.
On release, the boss character Zeus will become a playable fighter, along with a new arena set in Washington D.C. A special livestream celebration featuring some yet-to-be-revealed professional competitive gamers on the official ROI Twitch channel on July 1, 2015 at 22:00 CET.
