Riley to be Up-Furred
Remember the dog from Call of Duty: Ghosts, how we all placed bets on whether it will survive the game or not? Well, reality was way more boring than we anticipated, with the dog being forgotten just a few missions in. Now, the Nvidia PhysX update (and we all get to know that because Strategy Informer told us) will add fur to the dogs in game - just like in the above video, where Nvidia will make The Witcher 3's wolves look like someone just dried them with a blowdryer. Now you can admire it in that one QTE scene where Riley fights dogs or – in both singleplayer and multiplayer – admire as your furry companion rushes the opposition.
What I'm trying to say is that the dogs are too small a part of Call of Duty to be important. It's like EA announcing that the latest Battlefield patch will introduce MRAP engine sounds that will be more realistic than any sounds ever in a video game.
