Ride Online In Trials Fusion Update
Well, it bloody well took them long enough. When Trials Fusion - sequel to the excellent Trials Evolution - launched, a lot of gamers felt underwhelmed by the amount of content on offer. While Evolution contained over a hundred tracks plus an expansive track creator and online multiplayer, Fusion on the other hand took a few steps back. Both the amount of tracks and customization options was significantly lower, and multiplayer was nowhere in sight. Of course, there was a season pass containing multiple DLC packs with some extra tracks, but these too were rather disappointing when compared to the awesome DLCs Trials Evolution offered.
Now, at least some of that has finally been rectified. With a brand new, free update to Trials Fusion, online multiplayer functionality has been added. With it comes the ability to play public and private races with up to seven other players (as opposed to Evolution's total of 4) and compete in online leaderboards. Check out the trailer embedded above for some juicy footage, in case you don't believe 8-player Trials can be possible.
Additionally, the fourth piece of downloadable content, titled "Fire in the Deep", will be released on January 27th. Said to be the biggest one yet, it'll contain 11 new tracks and numerous objects for the community track editor. Season pass owners will naturally get it for free.
