Resident Evil Revelations was released for the 3DS last year and in January of this year it was announced that the game would be coming to all other major platforms. Capcom have now said that the demo will be coming to Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network, the Nintendo eShop and Steam. Though an exact date of release for the demo is yet to be confirmed.

Capcom have also released the following details regarding the demo. From the press release:

“Acting on orders from the BSAA director, the demo will see players infiltrating the cruise ship ‘Queen Zenobia’ as Jill Valentine and attempt to rescue missing fellow BSAA members Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawat whose last known location pinpointed them onboard.”

The company have also announced the release of the first in a series of weekly Developer Diaries. These will feature interviews with the team behind Resident Evil Revelations and the first episode will look at the horror and history of the Resident Evil series.

Capcom says that gamers will be able to play Resident Evil Revelations on the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in North America as of May 21st and in Europe as of May 24th.
