Previously, we brought you the news that Resident Evil: Revelations was getting a sequel. Serving as a bit of an "interquel" between Resident Evils 4 and 5, it eschewed the high-action nature of the later instalments for the creeping horror that made Resident Evil into the household name that it is today. With this sequel, partner actions are back, along with the classic first aid sprays, and some creative use of a flashlight to ensure that the players get to conserve ammunition.

In Revelations 2, players step into the roles of Claire Redfield, an expert in destroying bioweapons from previous games, and Moira Burton, daughter of the one and only Barry "Jill Sandwich" Burton from the series. Details are slim at this time, but it appears as though Claire and Moira are knocked out, one thing leads to another, and they wake up in a detention facility with the infected shambling about. I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of personal time spent with the infected of this game, and you can as well, when the game releases some time next February on PC.
