Return To Franchise Wolfenstein
ZeniMax has, through the voice of Bethesda and MachineGames, announced the recent speculations on their upcoming project. Wolfenstein: The New Order, which is the game in question, is supposed to reimagine the franchise. Little is known about the gameplay, only the fact that the story will be taking place in post WW2 Europe, in an alternative universe where the Nazis won. Once again, the player will take control over B.J. Blazkowicz, the well-known protagonist of the series. The executive studio for the project will be the aforementioned MachineGames, a studio owned by ZeniMax. They are based in Sweden and include people who formerly worked in Starbreeze Studios, the guys who gave us Chronicles of Riddic.
I find the material too scarce to judge the game just yet, but this "reimagining" part gets my hopes up. Seeing how such restarts worked for games like Tomb Rider or DmC, I sure hope The New Order will uphold the trend. Anyway, it will sure be good to return to the war-torn Europe and kick some more Nazi ass!
The game will be out in the 4th quarter of 2013, for PC, Xbox, PS3 and the next-gens. We will keep you informed!

@Extermination - even if last Wolfenstein was average it as far from bad. I honestly enjoyed that game.

Don't forget that Starbreeze Studios birthed us the baby The Darkness. I'm glad they're tackling this game franchise after Raven Soft' gave us that incredibly average 2009 installment.
