Our colleagues at AllGamesBeta have made us aware of some Resident Evil Revelations 2 news this week. First, we have a bunch of monster reveals. We have one that goes bang and doesn't like light (Sploder), one made up of lots of different bodies sewn together (Revenant) and one that's like a dog but not quite (Orthus). Second, we have a bunch of release details. The Revelations sequel will release a new episode every week, each one having "hours of terrifying gameplay ending with dramatic cliff-hangers that leave players fully engrossed and anticipating the next twist in the gripping horror story." You can buy episodes individually each week, buy a season pass or wait until the final episode is released as that's when the disc version will be available. The retail disc version and the season pass both have bonus content you won't get by just buying the newest episode each week. More details about this bonus content will be released soon. The game will consist of 4 episode that cost €5.99/$5.99 each or €24.99/$24.99 altogether in the Season pass. This 'Season' of Resident Evil Revelations will begin on February 17th.
