COD: Zombies, Day Z, The Walking Dead games, The Evil Within, Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil 6, take your pick, just about every action-shooty game has zombies in them. I've had enough zombies already damn it! Back in the day there was only one big zombie game, and that was good ol' Resident Evil, the classic one, before it was all about Leon and boulder punching.

Capcom is bringing the original Resident Evil back to life one more time, this time in HD. The tank controls, fixed camera, and zombies will all be coming back in full HD glory, but most importantly, so will the doors. Thos beautiful, glorious, HD door opening mini-cutscenes.

They're so good right!? I can't be the only one who finds them cathartic!

Resident Evil will be available starting January 20th across North America and Europe for $19.99 / €19.99 / £15.99 for all current gen and last gen systems, as well as for PC through digital download.
