Resident Evil 6 PC Benchmark Leaked (Updated)
If you don't already know, a benchmark for the PC version of Resident Evil 6 has been leaked onto the internet. Speculation behind the leak is mostly targeted at NVidia's GeForce website, as the Benchmark download became featured on the site. The PC version of RE6 is set to release on the 23rd of March this year, and those who were quick enough managed to download the benchmark before the links stopped working. But, knowing the internet, there is going to be many ways to get your hands on it. Those of you that don't know what a Benchmark is, it's basically a way to test the performance of the game. Most importantly during big firefights, crowds or anything else that can put a strain on your FPS.
It's always interesting seeing content from big games like Resident Evil being leaked onto the net. I like to see how quickly developers try take the leak down, it's the internet, you have no power here! I'm not a tech whizz, in fact I had to have an explanation on what a benchmark actually is before even thinking about writing this, but I understand a lot of people want to download it and test their capabilities. Personally I can't wait until March 23rd when the game is available on Steam. RE6 runs in DX9 mode, and you can see some more screens below!
Update: The benchmark tool is now officially available to download here.
