Release the Dogma Within
Only a scant few days remain until we can step back into the world of Dragon's Dogma, with the glorious PC Master Race finally able to make their own pilgrimage into this epic world. As such, we have a story heavy release trailer for you to sink your teeth into. Now, bear in mind, this is all in Japanese and, as yet, we have nothing concrete about an English localisation. But you can visit the website and, presumably, download the game regardless of region this coming Monday. I mean, it even automatically directs you to the /pc page if you access it from, y'know, a PC. So it bodes well.
From what little I've been able to piece together with my sugoi kawaii desu ne skills, there was a great dragon that was turned to stone which people now worship. And for some reason, shit got real and he summoned some great heroes to defend the land. Which is where the player comes in. Travelling across truly immense landscapes, larger even than the already impressively large console game, and generally being a complete badass. How the story will play out long term, of course, remains to be seen, but the heavy emphasis on it is refreshing for an F2P game and you can bet you'll be seeing me making my contribution on a regular basis.
The game will go live across PlayStation 3/4 and PC on this coming Monday, 31st of August.
