Last month we covered the reveal of new Walking Dead DLC 400 Days and earlier this week we shared further details about the content pack. Now we have release dates!
400 Days will be available on the North American PSN as of today and will be available on the European version of the network as of the 10th of July. It'll be available as of tomorrow for PCs & Macs worldwide via Steam and the Telltale Games Store. It will be available worldwide from Xbox Live on the 5th of July and, finally, will be available worldwide from the App Store for iOS as of the 11th of this month.
These release dates were announced via the Telltale blog and the same post also announced a sneak peak at the new content. Walking Dead fans should tune in to the Telltale Twitch on July 2nd at 12pm PT / 3pm ET for a glimpse at one of the 5 short stories included in the DLC pack.

You know, I actually thought that, in comparison, the writing of Telltale's game was far better than anything Robert Kirkman has wrote for the series he created. To be fair, the comics are highly praised and a friend assured me that they were really amazing, so my expectations were perhaps a little too high going in. But, to be blunt, I honestly think that Kirkman is one of the worst writers I've ever come across. Whereas I thought that Telltale did a consistently excellent job throughout the whole of the first season, and hopefully in this too.
Incidentally, I think the TV adaption is a load of bollocks too but fuck knows what's even been going on there. The show got off to a good start but I thought it already began to fall apart before the first season even finished.
Anyway, I'm unsurprisingly going to be picking this up the moment it appears on Steam. Still, I'm surprised it's coming so soon after it was announced. Hopefully it means that they're a good deal way through the second season already.

I read the comic not too long ago and now I just want to consume everything related to The Walking Dead. This DLC pack sounds grand!
