Spacebase DF-9 surfaced on Steam's Early Access program about a month ago, and is looking really good so far! And I can't be the only one who thinks that, as Indie Fund have recently announced that the game had made back the investment given within the first two weeks of it's availability.

Spacebase was one of the two games from Dublefine that have received funding from Indie Fund, and ended up receiving funding from a number of different groups to make the $400,000 - a much larger amount than Indie Fund normally provides - that it needed for development.

Indie Fund are currently celebrating Spacebase's success, and contemplating what the successful recouping of such a (relatively) large amount, and the cooperation of so many different groups required to put that amount together, will mean for their funding model.
