Receive Hannibal at the Gates
Total War: Rome II is, unsurprisingly, a game about controlling Rome and trying to conquer everything that's renderable on the map. The internet agrees that it's pretty OK. And it has a steady stream of patches and updates, as well as DLCs that let you replay the campaigns of Julius Caesar (you might have heard of him) or fire scorpions at the enemy.
And now we have the announcement that new DLC on the way. Hannibal at the Gates will deal, unsurprisingly, with the famed warlord from Carthage. It will probably let you avoid leading elephants through the mountains, though!
The Second Punic War brings us five playable factions and "a wealth of new units". Roma and Carthage will get a new civil tech tree based on diplomacy. Meanwhile, Syracuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani will have struggle in sidelines of this grand war.
Aside from this most assuredly not free DLC, we have also been promised a "significant free content update" which will drop... soonish. Rome fans, hold yer breath.
