Reaping Away Exclusivity for Grim Fandango Remake
After not one but TWO highly successful Kickstarters, one of which is at least kind of out at this point, Double Fine have turned to what many developers do nowadays; bringing back old games with an HD-spin.
The remake of Grim Fandango, originally touted at E3 as a PlayStation exclusive title, is now no longer exclusive! According to a Tweet from the developers and a Kickstarter update for Broken Age, the title is now also coming for PC, Mac and Linux!
"All versions will be launching simultaneously, so everyone can play on day one and not have to worry about those spoilers you've been successfully avoiding for the past fifteen years. (Pro-tip: stay off Twitter.) "
Seeing how long it takes Double Fine even just to finish Broken Age's second act, you shouldn't be surprised if you'll have to wait a couple of years more before this remake sees the light of day. Until then, check out Tim Schafer's own retrospective for the underrated classic, embedded above.
