Project CARS Teaser Teases Epic Graphics

The developers behind Need for Speed Shift, Slightly Mad Studios, have finally shown a sneak-peak at what we can expect from their game called Project CARS. The game will be a simulation racing game and will feature both single-player and multiplayer. It is currently scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2014 and is currently planned for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and even the Wii U. The developers have stated that they are considering porting it to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Project CARS will use the Madness engine (these developers seem to be obsessed with anything having to do with "mad"), this is the same engine that NFS Shift used however, the developers are promising that all of the issues of the engine will be absent in Project CARS.

Project CARS even features expert advice from known features such as Ben Collins (Top Gear's former Stig) as well as Nicolas Hamilton the younger brother of Lewis Hamilton (known from Formula 1). The developers have acquired this advice in order to make the game as realistic as possible.

Beyond the realism, one thing that is very clear from the trailer above is the amazing graphics. It will be a while before we get to find out how this title turns out and we will keep you all updated as more information and footage gets released for this promising title.
