Stronghold Crusader 2, the sequel to a sequel to one of the best (and probably one of the only) castle sim games out there; Stronghold. Yeah, it's happening. Stronghold Crusader 2 is little more than a month away from release. But though the franchise's last proper instalment - Stronghold 3 - was a buggy and unpolished mess, that doesn't scare UK developer Firefly Studios from smearing on thick with the pre-order incentives.

As shown at the end of this trailer, pre-ordering the game a month before launch will save you a whopping 10% off the retail price, and will also give you two additional mini-campaigns that I'm sure are totally not ripped out of the game to make paying out for a product we know nothing of in terms of quality and polish.

... Or you could always just wait until the game is out before you risk wasting your money on what could turn out to be another Stronghold 3. Though the veteran developer are no longer bound to shoddy publishers, that's still no guarantee for the quality of Stronghold Crusader 2. I'm sure Stronghold fans around the world hope for the best, but let's not get too confident just yet.
