CD Projekt Red has, in a recent trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, slotted in a hidden message hinting at the possible release of Witcher 3, to be announced in February 5th. Eagle-eyed Reddit user Hotwheels258 spotted the screen containing the relevant information, stating the existence of an "other project" that is "much closer to completion" than Cyberpunk 2077. They state that it would be a "fully open-world game with an intense story" and that we "can probably guess the game" they're talking about. Real subtle.

Anyway, it's about time. Seen by some as one of the last bastions of good videogame storytelling, CD Projekt Red's upcoming sequel to Witcher 2 is probably one of the most anticipated RPGs. The date set for its release is approximated to be either somewhere in 2015/2016, so it seems that the wait unfortunately is still gonna be a while.
