The PlanetSide 2 development team have released the finalised membership subscription benefits. PlanetSide 2 will be fully F2P (Free-to-Play) but will also feature a premium subscription that will give specific benefits.
For every month players are subscribed they will receive 500 StationCash each month, this can be used to purchase premium stuff on the SOE Station store (not just for PlanetSide 2, but also for any SOE game that uses the Station store). Additionally, they will receive priority login over free players and early access to purchase cosmetic items on the Station store.
Beyond those benefits, players will also gain a 25 percent increased gain to XP, resource and “passive cert point”. These benefits increase monthly by 5 percent for each successive month players remain subbed, up to 50 percent after 6 months. If players purchase a 6-month subscription pack, they will immediately receive the full 50 percent benefit.
Currently only the American price has been announced and will be $14.99 per month for the subscription. The other prices can be found here.

I must admit, I had a hard time getting my head fully around it as there was so much they had to explain about it for it to make sense. I didn't even bother explaining all the details as it would just become so overly complicated to read then. Like how you have 30 days from the last sub to sub again to keep the 6+ month bonus and all that. But yeah, it is SOE so I am not surprised, they always had a way of finding the hardest, most illogical and complicated manner of doing something (not always being bad that they did! Bear in mind!) but yeah, just how SOE is :P
