Hi-Rez Studios (Tribes: Ascend, Global Agenda, SMITE) has announced a new free to play team based shooter that has a strange twist, in the start of a match or in the middle the player can get cards to unlock powers and how their abilities work at a moment in that battle.

Paladins is free to play and will be available for PC and current-gen consoles soon, with Early Access (or open-beta as it should be called) later this year, keep up with the news at their website.
