Original Sin Releasing In Spring
Divinity: Original Sin looks awesome. Not too long ago, it entered Steam's Early Access program and though only the first act is actually playable, it's apparently pretty damn impressive already.
The Early Access program has been a controversial one. On one hand, it gives players the option to pre-order a game and get instant access to its current content, but many are also sceptical. Shady developers could use the program to lure in gamers with their promises, taking all the money for the work but never delivering on what was promised.
If you're in the latter camp, then you'll be pleased to hear that Divinity: Original Sin likely won't be in Early Access forever. In fact, Larian Studios just released a new trailer announcing the release... window, for the game. No date is set, but apparently "spring" is good enough for Larian. Knowing that European spring can be a bit unpredictable, the release might be just around the corner, or many months away. Looking at the current state of the game on Steam, I think it's safe to assume that it'll be a late spring for Divinity fans. But good things come to those who wait, am I right?

I'm frankly surprised. I had thought they were more aiming for late 2014 at the earliest. A very pleasant surprise! The Co-Op dialogue system alone has me intrigued.
