While AMD enjoys having its hardware in all current-gen home consoles, Nvidia directs its marketing efforts towards PC and Android. With no interest in console sales, the green team promotes PC heavily as a choice of purchase for console players that are looking for new hardware. In an interview with MCV Matt Wright, consumer sales manager at Nvidia, has shared some of the ideas they promote. As convenience and ease of use attract a lot of people to consoles, providing the same on PC is needed to attract them. He said:

"We want to make PC gaming as simple as possible and we think that it already becoming much more relevant and appealing to casual gamers."

It will be interesting to see how exactly Nvidia will act, in comparison to their promises. With their hardware in the prototype Steam Machines close cooperation with Valve is likely.
