Nvidia has just launched their Free-to-Play “Explosion” Bundle. This bundle is a temporary promotion during which any purchases of specific GTX cards from any brand will come with a bonus code. This bonus code once redeemed will provide new codes to redeem within World of Tanks, PlanetSide 2 and Hawken for the games premium currency.

The offer is valid for any GTX 650 or GTX 650Ti cards, in which case the code will provide:

  • World of Tanks: 2050 Gold, 1 Month Premium, and 1500 Invite Gold
  • PlanetSide 2: Gear Up pack (worth £16)
  • Hawken: 3600 Meteor Credit

The offer is also valid for any GTX 660 or higher card, in which case the code will provide:

  • World of Tanks: 7500 Gold, 1 Month Premium, and 2500 Invite Gold
  • PlanetSide 2: Premium Gear Up pack (worth £33)
  • Hawken: 7200 Meteor Credit

All in all that is a lot of value! Depending on your region and the currency the value will differ slightly but it will be close to the equivalent of 75 Dollars for the GTX 650/650 Ti code and 150 Dollars for the GTX 660 or higher code.

To find out where you can purchase an Nvidia card to receive such a code with the purchase go to the official Nvidia website here and select your country, once done you can click on “Join the movement” under “Enjoy” to find out what official partners are doing this offer near you.

The issue here is that some companies decided that its better to move their games to F2P space and that makes me worry about the future of some of the games I enjoy because we know that everyone loves to milk what they have.

Yeah, there are plenty of games that offer pure story and hold off on the MP side.

I think F2P is growing and improving every day. Warface is the next F2P game that I'm sooo excited for.

@Ruby I agree, got no problem with free games, some of the are quality (Team Fortress 2, Air Mech, World of Tanks).

@Stunt I don't see the problem - they're free. Free games are good.
