The newest instalment in the Mortal Kombat series, Moratl Kombat X, has taken a page out of seemingly every game these days and implemented character classes.

Everybody's favorite thunder God, Raiden, just got a video dedicated to his 3 optional class selections, Thunder God, Displacer, and Storm Lord, each emphasizing their own style of gameplay. Want better zoning tools? Try out Storm Lord. Want to zip around the map? Try Displacer. No matter which class you pick, your character's basic combos will remain the same, but more complex combos will only be available to specific classes.

Raiden isn't the only character they've shown off either, earlier at e3 this year they showed off some of Scorpion's and D'vorah's classes too while they promised that each character, all 24 of them, will have 3 playable variations to pick from.
