Notch was going to take part in this year's Ludum Dare competition but unfortunately had to pull out. However Notch has still delivered a new game on the Unity engine called 'Drop'. Taking inspiration from Fez, Super Hexagon as well as a section of his apartment ceiling, Drop is free-to-play, browser based...touch typing software? As electronic music plays words spiral out from the centre of the screen and the player must type these quickly with minimal mistakes. It's certainly different. I wasn't able to score very highly but maybe you'll have better luck. You can play Drop here.
