No More Impersonation in EVE Online

CCP have updated their terms of service to try and deal with the on-going problem of impersonation within EVE Online. Specifically, they updated article 8 within the terms of service which define the rules on impersonation. Nothing else has been changed so there is no need to re-read everything again.

Article 8 used to read:

You may not impersonate or present yourself to be a representative of CCP or an EVE Online volunteer.

But since the change it now reads:

You may not impersonate or present yourself to be a representative of CCP or an EVE Online volunteer. You may not impersonate or falsely present yourself to be a representative of another player, group of players, character or NPC entity.

So there we have it the changes have been made, but if I am being honest I do not think the change offer enough clarity. The Eve online community is going to full of confused players on what this actually means for them. All you Eve online players let us know what you think below.

Wait...people were impersonating NPCs? o.O

I'm sorry, but if anyone was stupid enough to fall for that...seriously!
