My prayers have been answered: Nexus 2: The Gods Awaken launched on Kickstarter! Being made by the same guys that brought us the true treasure that was Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, it not only promises to expand on the success of its predecessor but to set new benchmarks in the industry.
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was arguably one of the best space-based RTS games yet. While being hampered at launch with bugs, it is still remembered fondly for its great gameplay, glorious panoramas and epic space battles.

Ah yeah good idea Bismarck, I haven't actually funded any games on Kickstarter yet but this is definitely one I will put some money aside for to fund, the developers are in my heart forever with Nexus and thus have earned my moneyz :)

The first game was on sale on GOG for $4 several days ago. Kind of wish I'd picked it up now.
