Today is the final day of Steam Community Update announcements. Day 4 is all about Friend Activities. We will be able to more clearly see who is doing what in the expanded friend’s activity list, where we will be able to comment, favourite or even taunt any activity. We will be able to post our status where it can be tagged or just help initiate a conversation. Do you have any friends who constantly change their names? If so you will like this feature – giving nicknames. You’ll be able to nickname your friends so no matter how they call themselves you still know who they are.
There will be 2 beta keys given to the first 50,000 people who received the “Pillar of the Steam Community” badge during the summer sale. More invites will be handed out daily till the beta period ends and all this goes live.
