Nearly four months after its release on the Xbox One and the PS4, the latest Need for Speed game is coming to PC with some improvements. Curiously tagged with no subtitle, the latest release was the fifteenth release in the overall franchise, and received middling to moderate praise, with many reviewers commenting on the visual fidelity, but bemoaning the always-online features, and AI problems. Developer Ghost Games is bringing full 4K support to an already gorgeous game, if the trailer is any indication, alongside no framerate limiters, improved customization, manual transmission, and full peripheral support.

The trailer itself underscores Need for Speed's ambition as well. Hearkening back to the days of Underground with the music choice, the involved customization and various story paths are also borrowed from and expanded upon in the latest effort for the legendary racing series. Preorders of the deluxe edition net players a highly customized BWM M3 E46, though all preorders get you some various customization items. Need for Speed releases on PC on March 15th for North America and March 17th for the rest of the world.
