...OK, not really, but stick with me here. NCsoft, just dropped a trailer for a game in development they're calling Project HON but I'm calling it "Project OMG this looks like concentrated awesome on steroids!". That said, I think their shorter title might work a little better.

There aren't a lot of details yet of how this game will actually play but the trailer is indeed impressive with lots of explosions, agile movement, explosions, ranged weapons, explosions, melee brawling, explosions, and mode changes shown. Seriously, Michael Bay is probably trying to get movie rights as I type this so he can continue to print money with explosions.

Project HON appears to be an explosive fast-paced action mecha game with gigantic agile robots utilizing powerful weapons, environmental objects as weapons/shields, the ability to transform and grappling hooks to bring their opponents into melee range. If this game can pull off all of the concepts shown in the trailer in an exciting and playable fashion, games like Transformers, Titanfall, Armored Core, and HAWKEN might have a new title stealing their spotlight in the robot/mecha subgenre of action games. If it can't, well, it can join a long list of mecha inspired games that hit the scrap heap. We'll just have to wait and see. The concept looks exciting, but I can't think of anything similar to this that NCsoft has developed before. If you know of something, drop me a line in the comments below.
