Naval Strike Gets a Long Trailer
With Battlefield 4’s Naval Strike expansion getting closer and closer, launching only a few days from now for Premium members on March 25th and early next month (April 8th) for everyone else. It’s only expected that we actually get a trailer. We got a teaser trailer a few days ago, but this one shows a lot more in terms of gameplay.
The big thing that I’m excited for with Naval Strike is “Carrier Assault” that new game-mode coming with the expansion that looks and plays oddly similar to the Titan mode from Battlefield 2142 that I pointed out back when it got revealed. Along with that buyers of Naval Strike will also get 4 new maps centered on water, and a new vehicle that’ll probably perform great on those maps and is featured heavily in the above trailer: the Hovercraft.
“New Maps: Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar. These 4 all-new maps set in the South China Sea are designed for intense naval action among shipping docks, fishing villages, and rocky islands.”
“Carrier Assault: An homage to Battlefield 2142's Titan mode, the Carrier Assault mode challenges you to bring down a huge aircraft carrier of the enemy team by launching missiles.”
“The Hovercraft: Use the new amphibious ACV Hovercraft to travel seamlessly between land and water, and take insane shortcuts to get the upper hand in the naval battles.”
