Naval Strike Causes Performance Issues
DICE announced on their blog the reason for delaying the launch of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC. They claim that the planned updates along with the expansion would impact the performance of the game on mid-range to high-range PCs. DICE say they are working hard to fix the issues.
We wanted to provide more detail about the delay of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike. We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs.
But it is not just PC owners with issues either. The Xbox One was also delayed due to animation problems, so at least we know that the latest consoles are prone to issues as well. Battlefield 4 Premium owners are probably gutted, but hopefully the wait won’t be that long, with early April being the target date. Even though the DLC is delayed, EA want you to know that you still get two week early access to Naval Strike and thank you for your sticking with them.
