Moving the Assassins to Quebec
The Assassins Creed Franchise is moving to a new location. While most of the previous games were developed primarily by Ubisoft Montreal, Ubi has announced that their Quebec-based arm is currently taking the lead on a future game in the series. With this announcement comes a major investment into the Quebec Studio, which will be expanding its offices, updating its equipment, and will be increasing its staff by around 100 people.
Ubisoft Quebec has previously been involved in every major Assassins Creed title since Brotherhood, including the upcoming Unity, and held the reins for both The Tyranny of King Washington and Freedom Cry - the major DLC packs for Assassins Creed 3 and 4 respectively. Based on that pedigree alone, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with an entire Assassins Creed experience to craft as they see fit.
