Codemasters has just revealed a highly exclusive, highly expensive and highly awesome special edition for GRID 2. This is the mother of all game editions, the one game edition to rule them all and perhaps the most shocking game edition ever released to date.

In a move that no one could have predicted, Codemasters has just unveiled the GRID 2: Mono Edition, this edition has also been officially placed in the Guinness World Records as the "Most Expensive Video Game Commercially Available – Special Edition". The Mono Edition places merges the lines between digital fantasy and reality by offering one player who either has a good life saving or a good income to purchase the Mono Edition.

This one very fortunate customer will then receive:

• A copy of GRID 2 for the PlayStation 3
• A PlayStation 3
• A GRID 2: Mono Edition branded Bell Racing helmet
• A complete race suit outfit including gloves, boots and suit all made to measure in BAC Mono and GRID 2 branding

Then to top it all of you get an actual BAC Mono supercar delivered in an exclusive GRID 2 livery, along with this you get a day at the BAC factory with a guided tour and time with the technicians to customise your BAC Mono supercar for size and specifications.

All of this comes at a price though (as one would expect), the cost of the GRID 2: Mono Edition is 125,000 British Pounds and there is only one available and only at Game.co.uk.

This is definitely a once in a lifetime game edition and probably the last of its sort we will see for a long time. It will be interesting to see who buys it, if that information ever is released. Oh, and for the car enthusiasts amongst you, a BAC Mono supercar has a 2.3 litre, 280 break horsepower four cylinder engine that combined with the carbon fibre build of the car allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds.

For those who were wondering, the BAC Mono is also legally allowed on public roads! Though I doubt you will see anyone going to the shop for groceries in it.
