The much awaited Mortal Kombat X is finally out for PC and consoles, but as it is right now, it's making more of a menu simulator than an actual game for PC players.

PC Ports are hard, as Mortal Kombat X is proving once again, so hard apparently that it renders some games completely unplayable. It starts up well enough, even choosing your faction works just fine, but as soon as you actually want to start the legendarily bloody Kombat the game crashes along with the hopes and dreams of playing MKX on its midnight release.

NetherRealm Studios will be fixing this ASAP of course as it's kind of losing 1/3rd of their total audience, but it's a major bummer that we'll have to wait a bit longer to play. There's no confirmation of when the patch will come through and fix everything, but have faith fellow kombatants, this is an at launch hiccup that Ed Boon is most likely fighting right now.
