Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for PC Released

Available through Steam here, the kritically akklaimed and infamous fighting game finally komes to PC! (Ok enough with the K :P) Better yet, the PC Edition includes all the DLC that the game received to date on the consoles. It is also a good sign it took so long to come to PC as then hopefully that should mean that it is not just a simple port. The title also fully supports Steam Big Picture mode and features all the same features it had on consoles and more! There are Steam Achievements, Leaderboards and even Cloud synchronisation. The game also supports online multiplayer (and local multiplayer?) as well as online and local co-op.

For the Steamphobic people amongst you, fret not, as the title will also be launching retail in Europe on August 2nd, 2013 and August 6th in America. However, as this is a Steamworks title, you will still need to activate the product on Steam to use it, even if you purchase it retail.

The price on Steam is currently set at £24.99 / 27,99€ / $29.99.

I don't think it will stay that high for long. It feels very much like a price based on uncertainty. Hoping to get as much money as they can per sale to justify the cost. A lot of devs still think about the short term instead of the longer, diminishing returns. Which is understandable, but still kinda' annoying

Yey, I'm really glad this came out on PC. Though the UK price is a bit ridiculous.
