Back in April, we gave you a trailer of an upcoming flight game set during the Vietnam War. While the trailer gave us a mixed feeling about how seriously the devs are going to treat the setting, the just released in-game screenshots rise up hopes that at least the gameplay will be dynamic and spectacular enough!

Air Conflicts: Vietnam seems pretty detailed, even in terms of the on-ground scenery, a feature which is not always seen to in airplane games. The explosions look appealing and when you get to the screen with rain – awww! For me, the one with the cockpit is the most interesting though, the detail level there suggesting that despite being mainly an arcade title, AC:V may aspire to introduce some advanced flight simulation elements. All the better I say.
