More Guns! More Violence! More Synth!
Despite its novel visual fidelity, short length and a very limited range of gameplay mechanics, Hotline Miami managed to be a fresh, unique and exciting piece of overly violent entertainment back when it released in 2012. Ever since, Dennaton Games have been working on the sequel. We don't know much in the way of details yet, even the set release window is vague at best. But now a new trailer is out. Of course, you won't see any flashing text explaining what new features the sequel brings, so you'll have to bring your deductive skills along for the ride.
The first thing you'll notice is the apparent ability to dual-wield certain weapons. That's pretty cool. And...hey, what was that? Did you see that? At the 50-second mark. Is that another character working with the player? Could that mean Hotline Miami 2 will be getting multiplayer? Or maybe it's a friendly NPC helping you out in the missions?
Hell if we know, but the trailer is as awesome as you'd expect. The music too, of course.
