Tencent and Capcom are working on a free-to-play Monster Hunter PC MMO for the Chinese market. This new Monster Hunter is different from other instalments in the series in that it does not use one of Capcom's engines. It instead uses the CryEngine 3. And it looks very pretty. Seriously, check out the trailer.

Monster Hunter Online will bring players new weapons, monsters and locations but shall keep the quest-oriented gameplay and massive boss battles that gamers are already familiar with. Testing on the game begins in June. Now let's just wait for the announcement for the rest of the world.
