When asked by an enthusiastic Mortal Kombat fan about the sales of the latest instalment's PC version, executive producer Ed Boon at NetherRealm Studios had no problem showing enthusiasm of his own. According to the Tweet (shown above) sales were much higher than they had expected when releasing the title on Steam earlier this summer. Denis Fyodorov, the man who asked the question in the first place, followed up the tweet shortly after, with a statement I think we can all agree on.

"good to read that :) hopefully, this will incline NetherRealm and WB to be more considerate of the PC platform in future!"
