Telltale Games has given us their trailer for the first episode of their Minecraft story game, as well as a few details of this episode including the voice actors and some handy information about the rest of the episodes.

This episode covers the start of the adventure, Jessie (proganist) and friends go to EnderCon in hopes of meeting one of the members of “The Order of the Stone” a group who slayed the Ender Dragon and saved the world long ago, and a mysterious problem that propels the group of friends to go find the rest of the order to help again.

We have for actors, Patton Oswolt and Catherine Taber as the voice actors for Jessie, Brian Poshen, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter and Martha Plimption as your companions, Billy West as the narrator and Paul Reubens as Ivor, the voice cast for the Order are, Dave Fennoy as Gabriel, Corey Feldman as Magnus, Grey Griffin as Ellegaard and John Hodgman as Soren.

Also announced is that on 12th October there will be a special live event at ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood Ca. that if you wish to attend for free you need to send a mail to minecraftpremiere[at]telltalegames[dot]com and is a first-come-first-served basis, though I do hope for those of us not able to attend because of distance they stream it on twitch.

Minecraft Story Mode releases on 13th October on all large platforms, mobile and tablet launches 15th October, the Season Pass disc will be available on the 27th October, with no known price, but does include Episode one, though they did not list the PC version there, But the game is on Steam for £18.99 full price, special offer on until release.
