MGS5: The Phantom Pain, Trailer on PC
Yes. Hell yes. I have a confession to make. What is possibly one of my favourite games of all time, isn't actually a PC game. In fact, it's a console exclusive. Metal Gear Solid 4 ranks strongly in my top three at any given point in time, and that hasn't changed since I've played it. But now, not only is a contender coming for that spot, promising to be bigger and better than before, but it will also BE COMING TO THE PC (most likely).
Yes, that's right. Metal Gear Solid is coming to the PC, and it looks amazing. The trailer tells us that we'll basically be playing Naked Snake (Big Boss) again, this time awakening from a 9-year long coma and for some part at least, escaping a hospital. Oh and he's missing a limb. It seems that they really enjoy making Snakes more and more feeble for some reason, but it doesn't matter, it's still Metal Gear Solid. It seems we'll be dealing with a more psychological game, apparently with hallucinations and mental disorders coming into play during the game. Also, remember the previously announced Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes? It and Phantom Pain both make up Metal Gear Solid 5, with the latter acting as a prologue to the former - two separate games.
As for the gameplay changes, it sounds like they've incorporated everything from the previous games in the series and just made the upcoming one even more awesome. First of all, there's a mother base to play and upgrade from, a la Peace Walker style, as well as an open world to screw around in.
Get ready gentlemen, I expect great things to be coming soon.
