MGR: Revengeance Coming To PC
It's been announced by Hideo Kojima that Konami are intending to bring Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, goofy subtitle and all, to the PC (Pretty sure 'revengeance' is not a word). We've covered murmured rumours about this possible PC port before but now it looks like this is the real deal. The announcement was made on Kojima's Hideradio Podcast not too long ago (I'm sure those of you that speak Japanese will enjoy his show).
Shortly after the Japanese announcement, a similar English announcement was made by Platinum creative director JP Kellams on his twitter, confirming the news. Kellams tweeted, "I am excited to see Rising hit the PC. Please direct PC MGR questions to @konami" which suggests Platinum won't have much involvement in the port. Revengeance will be the first Metal Gear title making its way to the PC since Metal Gear Solid 2.

From wikipedia "Entering Blade Mode produces a special targeting reticule in the form of a transparent blue plane which can be rotated and moved, tracing orange lines across the surfaces of objects to indicate exactly where they will be cut"
I have a PS3 but haven't actually played MGR:R, so I had to go to wikipedia for it. But yeah seems like it was controlled with the sticks. As far as I can tell the game does not even support the PS Move, and they never made it for the Wii or Wii U.

Was it controlled by an analogue stick for the console version or something? If so, 'swinging' a sword with mouse movements would be a hell of a lot of fun

Curious how the katana gameplay will be, probably using the mouse to do the slices? Will be interesting to see...

I've never been the world's largest Metal Gear fan, but I do hope this is the start of a trend. With the anthology thingybob doodaa whatsit coming for the neXtBOX, now this, perhaps Guns of the Patriots PC too? Because mods.
