Piranha Games' Mechwarrior Online is opening up to a Beta, starting next week on the 16th October. On the official site you can still buy into the Founders Scheme and get in game bonuses, as well as instant access to the Beta. The founders program will however now close on 14th October, so get in there quick!

In truth, Hawken looks a lot more appealing to me than this, but you can't exactly complain when Mechwarrior Online is free.
