Making Grown Men Cry Season 2
The Walking Dead, the game that grabbed the hearts of gamers everywhere and proceeded to rip them into tiny shreds by the 5th episode, has been announced that the sequel will be released this month. This new season is focusing on Clementine as the playable character, which should create a different gameplay dynamic by being a young girl instead of Lee, the manly man with a disturbingly sexy voice.
• Clem and Omid are at Gil's Pitstop, the central location of Season 1's 400 Days DLC.
• One, both or neither of them may need the toilet.
• Christa is not in the picture, not even peeking out from behind the abandoned car.
• Omid hasn't washed his shirt for some time.
First off, "Oh My God Yes!", and secondly, "Eh...". Most people would consider that second reaction to deem me worthy of being stoned to death, but I do have my reasoning for feeling slightly melancholy about a sequel to one of the best games of last year. I have a pet peeve with sequels. Bioshock 2, Dragon Age 2, every Call of Duty in existence etc. In some cases it's just a mediocre game that hardly feels tied to the original, and other times it's just a rip off of the first one that doesn't expand on anything new. I could very well be wrong about Season 2 of The Walking Dead, but anyone who played the first Season knows how it ended and many liked it. Personally, I found the first one had a perfectly satisfying ending, and I'm afraid that the sequel will tarnish that. There.
