Make Something Unreal Finalists Show Off Games
This is the second Make Something Unreal competition that has different development teams make a game, and then pitch it to a panel of judges. The finalist have already been announced. This was the day where the four finalist get to show their games off for the panel. There were 12 teams total but in the end only four were chosen as the winner, you can see that here. The video contains the pitches for all 12 teams but you can also see the four finalists.
Each team was judged by a specific criteria including implementation, creativity, and their presentation quality. The judges included Mike Gamble of Epic Games, CEO of UKIE Jo Twist, Stephen Gaffney, CEO of Fireteam, and Tim Edwards Editor for PCGamesN. Each finalist will be mentored by a different development team that is already well established including Splash Damage, Ninja Theory, Lucid Games and Climax Studios. The team will polish their games as best they can until the final showing at the Gadget Show Live in Birmingham on April 3rd.
