LucasAarts Passing Is Commemorated With Jedi Code

Raven Software, the game company behind the excellent Star Wars games Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, always kept the source code a secret. Until now that is. They say it's gift for the persistent fans and their way of paying respects for LucasArts. At any rate, Raven released source code for both of the previously mentioned games - Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. It might be hard to use with retail tools, but what the heck, it's Jedi Knight. A game that combined FPS shooting and third person lightsaber combat. And Jedi Powers, too! Can't wait to see what the modders cook up.

@Jenssen - I doubt the can do that. The asets are property of Raven/Lucas and if they create new ones the designs are probably trademarked. Same thing happened with many mods before.

Some devs comments inside the code are very funny.

I would definitely not mind seeing some modders make a new Jedi Knight game. The engine isn't half bad, either.
